Great news for Sister Speak in Canada!

This spring the Sister Speak duo tours North America on a seven week treck throughout the Chicago area, NYC, Boston, and ALL OVER CANADA! The tour kicked off April 8th at Mayne Stage, one of Chicago’s premiere venues, and one of our favourites in the country! We will be teaming up with Toronto bassist Victor Martisius for two special shows in Canada!

We have very exciting news for Sister Speak in Canada!!!
As many of your know CBC in Canada is hunting down new Canadian talent. We haven’t called upon our fans in a while, and if you can take a moment to vote for Sister Speak “Chicago Dream” we would greatly appreciate it! With hundreds of votes so far CBC has been airing the track already! If we can keep the momuntum rolling this could lead to more festival opportunities, extensive radio play in Canada, and some quality music gear. You can vote DAILY until April 13th for up to ten artists in each region!

**Sister Speak’s Okanagan Roots:
We chose Kelowna as our region for this contest
as most of the songs on Sister Speak’s Rise Up For Love album were written while Sherri Anne was home in the Okanagan recovering from an injury. The BC landscape and wisdom of the region have been a deeply inspiring influence on the songwriting and metaphorical lyrics of this album.
